Ductless Heat Pump
Ductless heating and cooling systems utilize heat pump technology, which can be 3.5 times more efficient than electric heat to distribute warm or cool air quietly and efficiently. The outdoor unit connects to the indoor unit with a small bundle of cables, including refrigerant lines. The outdoor unit is usually placed outside of your home adjacent the indoor unit, though not always. The cables require only a three-inch hole in the wall for installation. The indoor unit is mounted on a centrally located wall within your home. Working with your existing heating system, just one ductless indoor “head” is enough to heat and cool the most frequently used areas of an average-sized northwest home. Keeping your existing heating system in place ensures bedrooms and bathrooms remain at desired temperatures. The centrally located ductless system efficiently keeps your home’s main living areas as warm or cool as you’d like. A remote control lets you easily adjust your system’s settings for maximum efficiency and comfort.
